Two sisters, a 3kg
roaster, one loud
espresso machine.
We opened Flint & Fern because the coffee on the block was either burnt or apologetic. We wanted a third option — a café where you could drop in for a good drink, or take home beans as fresh as we'd drink ourselves.
Five years in, we roast every Monday, open Tuesday morning, and ship to all fifty states by the end of the week. The dog's name is Juniper. Juniper works Saturdays.
